Breakfast & Afterschool club - September 2020
Breakfast and Afterschool Clubs
From September we are able to re-open the Breakfast and Afterschool Club, however, due to the current situation and Government guidance, we have to make some changes to the way we operate this. We have to restrict the numbers of children that can attend and we have to make sure that the group is consistent i.e the same children attending.
For the period Monday 7th September to Friday 2nd October, we will be offering the following options:-
30 places - Full time Breakfast Club (i.e 5 mornings a week) - 25 sessions in total
30 places - Full time Afterschool Club (i.e 5 afternoons a week) - 25 sessions in total
- If you require both Breakfast and Afterschool club, you will have to book these separately
-As we have to keep the groups consistent, booking will need to be made, and paid for, as a block booking to cover the period Monday 7th September - Friday 2nd October
-At this time we are unable to offer single day bookings or swap/mix children.
-As we are restricted on the number of children we can accept into the groups, this will have to be booked on a first come first served basis.
-Bookings can be made from 10am onThursday 3rd September, on Schoolsbuddy.
Cost:- The costs remain the same but they will have to be paid for as a block.
1.Breakfast Club - Full time (Monday - Friday) - 25 session = £100.00*
Opening times 7.30am - to the start of the school day.
Children must be walked via the main entrance to the Breakfast club by an adult and staff will confirm their attendance on a register before the parent is allowed to leave.
2.Afterschool Club - Full time (Monday - Friday) - 25 sessions = £125.00*
Opening times, from the end of the day to the latest collection 5.15pm.
Children must be collected from Afterschool club by an adult, no child will be allowed to walk home alone.
*All bookings and payments are non refundable or transferable. Places must be pre booked.
We appreciate that parents may not require Monday - Friday childcare, however at the moment this is what we are able to offer so that we can safely manage the number of children and keep the groups consistent.
We would kindly ask parents that if they have pre booked and paid for sessions and then no longer need them, that they phone or email the office so that we are aware that the child is not coming to Breakfast or Afterschool Club. We must ensure our registers are correct and that the child is in the right place for “going home time”.
We understand that the restrictions that we have to put on this provision, and the lack of flexibility, may prove difficult for parents. We ask for your understanding that we have to comply with Government guidance and Risk Assessments and currently, our previously very flexible and adaptable Breakfast and Afterschool Club provision is not workable.
We will keep this under review and as soon as we are able to operate differently, we will let you know.
If you have any questions please contact the office.
