Year 6 Theatre Trip – Horrible Histories: Rotten Royals on Thursday 13 June 2024
Dear Parents
We would like to take the children in year 6 to see a performance of “Horrible Histories - Rotten
Royals’ at The Hawth Theatre, Crawley on Thursday 13th June at 13.30.
Due to the nature of the event we need to pre book and pay for the tickets in advance. The cost is
£16.44 per child, which is payable on Schoolcomms. Children who are eligible for free school meals will receive a discount, which will show on your schoolcomms account.
Tickets must be paid for by Tuesday 14th May 2024
â Date : Thursday 13th June
â Show start time : 13.30
â Location: The Hawth Theatre, Crawley
â Children will need a packed lunch on this day (no fizzy drinks please).
â Transport : Children will walk to the Theatre supervised by Hilltop Staff. Children are to
be collected at 15:10pm by Parents, no child will be allowed to walk home alone
We really want this worthwhile experience to go ahead however, this does depend on all parents
making the £16.44 voluntary contribution. We will review the contributions we have received before
14th May. If parents haven’t made a contribution, the office will need to contact you before we can
make a decision about whether the visit can go ahead. It’s for this reason that we would really
appreciate you letting us know if you are unable to make this voluntary contribution.
If you do not wish your child to attend please contact the school office and we will be happy to
discuss this. We would strongly encourage all children to take part in activities such as it is highly
beneficial and it is something they will really enjoy and have lasting memories of.
