Lodge Hill Residential 2020
To Parents of all Year 4 children
Tuesday 22nd October
We are pleased to confirm the details of the year 4 residential trip at Lodge Hill which is situated in the stunning South Downs National Park, West Sussex
- Date: Thursday 25th – Friday 26th June 2020
- Departing : Leaving Hilltop on Thursday 25th June at 11:00am
- Arrive home : Arriving back at Hilltop by the end of the school day Friday 26th June
In order to book this we would need to know the exact amount of children who would like to go, as this has a direct link to the price we need to charge. At this point we believe that the total cost would be no more than £90 per child.
It is essential we pre book the rooms and the coach so at this time we are asking for a non-refundable deposit of £20.00 per child (payable on Schoolsbuddy) Children who we do not receive a deposit from we will assume do not wish to attend. Once the payments have been made we can confirm the exact price – the more children who attend the cheaper it will be. We will be able to confirm the price to parent’s week commencing 2nd December 2019
DEPOSITS MUST BE PAID BY FRIDAY 29TH NOVEMBER 2019
Unfortunately if we do not receive sufficient numbers for the trip to go ahead we will refund the deposits.
Once the price is confirmed we will notify parent and confirm the remaining payments. Parents are required to pay the fees in minimum instalments prior to the deadlines below. These minimum payments must be paid by the dates shown or we may withdraw your child space, you can of course pay the instalments early or all in one go.
- Deposit 1st payment - £20.00 – to be paid by Friday 29th November (non-refundable deposit)
- 2nd payment - price to be confirmed – to be made no later than Monday 3rd February 2020 (Non-refundable payment)
- Final Payment - price to be confirmed – to be made no later than Wednesday 1st April 2020 (Non-refundable payment)
Please make payment on line using Schoolsbuddy. Please understand that if the minimum payments are not made by these deadlines, your child will no longer be eligible to go on the residential trip.
If your child is entitled to free school meals we will automatically reduce the cost of the trip once the deposit is paid and the total price is confirmed. The deposit cost remains the same for all students. If you experience, any difficulty with payment please speak to the school office in confidence
We understand that some families do not wish their child to go on residential visits for reasons that relate to culture or particular individual circumstances. We would strongly encourage all children to take part in the residential as it is highly beneficial for their development. It is something they will really enjoy and have lasting memories of.
Whilst the residential visit is taking place, children who have chosen not to attend will take part in a range of similar activities at school and in the local area. Details of this will follow later in the year.
Please contact the office if you have any further questions.
