Origional Parents letter :
As part of the Year 6 programme of work planned for the Autumn Term in the next academic year, we are planning to take our Year 6 pupils on an activity weekend. We will be going to the PGL centre at Windmill Hill in Hailsham, East Sussex.
Date Booked: Friday 28th – Sunday 30th September 2018
Children will leave from school at lunch time on Friday 28th and return to School by 3pm on Sunday 30th September
The course we have selected is an Active course, with on-site activities every day, such as climbing, abseiling, and archery etc. All courses will be under the supervision of trained and experienced instructors. The cost of the visit is £135 which covers the transport, accommodation, meals, and a full activity programme including evening activities, all equipment, tuition, insurance and transport by coach
We therefore require a deposit of 25% (£33.75) by Monday 11th December 2018 to secure a place for your child. If we do not receive this by the Monday 11th December we will assume you do not require your child to attend. Please note all deposits are non-refundable
Parents are required to pay the remainder of the fees in instalments prior to the three deadlines below. These minimum payments must be paid by the dates shown or we may withdraw your child space.
- Deposit 1st payment - £33.75 – to be paid by Monday 11th December
- 2nd payment - £40.00 – to be made no later than Monday 22nd January (running total £73.75)
- 3rd payment - £40.00 – to be made no later than Monday 12th March (running total £113.75)

Please make payment on line using Schoolsbuddy. Please understand that if the minimum payments are not made by these deadlines, your child will no longer be eligible to go on the residential trip.
We understand that some families do not wish their child to go on residential visits for reasons that relate to culture or particular individual circumstances. We would strongly encourage all children to take part in the residential as it is highly beneficial for their development. It is something they will really enjoy and have lasting memories of.
